Thank you for making such a wonderful movie. It reminds me of such great movies as A Man For All Seasons and Becket. The message goes much further than those movies however. There are so many people who settle for drivel. You have chosen the upward path by making a movie which enobles humanity through the grace of God. People who see this movie will hopefully understand how they too can touch others around them, even if it means flying in the face of popular culture…
Thank you again. I hope you will be able to make more movies if this ilk which touch the heart. I hope all of my students will be see this movie. Also, thank you for all of the notes and information at the movie website.

Ken Wales, of “Christy” fame, has left his mark again. I saw it twice in two days, and have e-mailed family and friends all over the country to go see it NOW. I especially appreciated that the subject matter of slavery was treated with restraint, albeit proper horror, while focusing on the great courage of a white man, whose relentless dedication and great personal courage, brought down the slave traders. It could have been a gory, X-rated film. Instead it elevated the heart by showing the ultimate victory of God-empowered, wise political strategy to achieve triumph and freedom.
